Obituary for Janice Wade (Ask)

Memorial services for Janice Wade, 66, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Sunday, December 20, 2015, at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Paul Stanley officiating.
Mrs. Wade passed away December 17, 2015, in Tyler. She was born May 12, 1949, in Ottumwa, Iowa to Carl Henry & Virginia Cravens Ask. She was raised in Mineola, spent several years in Arlington and had been in Grand Saline since 1980. She married Tommy Wade May 19, 2001. She worked as a supervisor for Morton Salt for 28 years. Janice was preceded in death by her mothers, Virginia Cravens Ask and Helen Louise McClure Ask; father, Carl Henry Ask; nephew, William Ross Collier; and brother-in-law, Buzz Collier.
Survivors include her husband, Tommy Wade of Grand Saline; children and their spouses, Kristi & Paul Wheeler of Grand Saline, Brittany & David Bessonett of Grand Saline, Lance Caffey of Grand Saline, Melissa & Curt Fuller of Flower Mount, Lisa & Brian Means of Grand Saline, Abbi & Richard Keppler of Watertown, NY, Chad Wade of Tyler; three brothers and their spouses, Scott & Sue Smith of Carrollton, Jeff & Brenda Smith of San Antonio and John Ask of Athens; sister, Barbara Collier of Grand Saline; thirteen grandchildren and one on the way; three great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Gothard, Tim Null, Dylan Wheeler, Terry Wilson, Curt Fuller and Kirk Wade.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
