Services for Mr. Jackie Lynn Fagg, 80, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Friday, December 8, 2017, at Bartley Funeral Home with Jerry Presswood and Jerry Crane officiating.
Interment will follow in Creagleville Cemetery.
Mr. Fagg passed away December 5, 2017, in Grand Saline. He was born March 23, 1937, in Grand Saline, to Alvis Davis & Elsie Ruth Grier Fagg. He spent his life in Grand Saline where he was Church of Christ and worked as a supervisor and truckdriver. Jackie served on many committees throughout the community, had been a Fruitvale School Board member, and had volunteered for FEMA, receiving a retirement plaque from them in 1986. He also served on the Van Zandt County Sheriff's Posse, and volunteered his time at Country Trails Wellness & Rehab. Mr. Fagg was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Judy Barker Fagg; daughter, April Renee Fagg; brothers, Waylon Fagg and Bobby Fagg; and sisters, Ruth Tull, Betty Dunbar, Faye Cumby and Virginia Gipson.
Survivors include his three daughters, Mary Crane and husband Jerry of Grand Saline, Janet Baker of Grand Saline and Linda Hernandez of Bullard; brother, Travis Fagg and wife June of Tyler; sister, Nell Hawkins of Mineola; 13 grandchildren, Karen Crane, Brian Lane, Dylan Baker, Ryan Montgomery, Terry Carver, Hunter Carver, Cristina Ham, Jose Hernandez, Marcos Hernandez, Layanna Saenz, Jinni Spangenbert, Jessica Ruby and Jacqueline Lamb; 21 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Garrett, Gerald Sizemore, Brian Lane, Ryan Montgomery, Donald Hawkins and Doug Wireman.
Honorary pallbearers are Tyler Yates, Dylan Baker, Terry Carver, Hunter Carver, Jose Hernandez, Marcos Hernandez, Shane Maupin and Lloyd Erwin.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
