Carolyn Kaye Selby Osteen

MINEOLA – Funeral services for Carolyn Kaye Selby Osteen, 71, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2018, at Sand Springs Baptist Church, Mineola, with Bro. Jim Parker officiating, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home.
Burial will be at Pilgrim Rest #2 Cemetery, Golden.
Mrs. Osteen passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018, in her home in Keller. Carolyn was born June 5, 1947, in Dallas, Texas, to the late Samuel Clyde, Jr. and Doris Jean Tolerton Selby. She married Beryl Glenn Osteen on August 13, 1982, in Duncanville. Carolyn has lived in Keller for 7 months and lived in Mineola for the 12 years prior. She loved being a Nana, loved the Lord Jesus, and was always on God’s time. She was retired from EDS and AAFES, and she was a member of the Sand Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Tim and wife Denise Wade of Trophy Club; step-son, Larry and wife Jan Osteen of Malakoff; brother, Michael James and wife Laura Selby of Mesquite; sister, Tanya Suzanne Selby of McKinney; grandchildren, Jake Wade, Hannah Wade, Hailey Wade, and Chelsee Wade; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Beryl Osteen.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2018, at Sand Springs Baptist Church, Mineola.
