Graveside services for Judy Rush Moss, 58, of Mineola, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, August 25, 2018, at Starr Cemetery with Bro. Jim Parker, Bro. Andrew McQueen and Bro. Homer Morgan officiating under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.
Mrs. Moss passed away August 22, 2018, in Tyler. She was born July 1, 1960 in Grand Saline to Finis Ray & Madaline McBride Rush. She lived most of her life in Wood Co. where she was a paramedic and a member of Country Fellowship of Wood Co. Judy was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved to write and had a passion for gardening and growing flowers. She was preceded in death by her father, Finis Ray Rush; mother, Madaline McBride Brewer; sister, Doris Daniels; and two brothers, Johnny Rush and Steven Ray Rush.
Survivors include her husband Donald Moss of Mineola; two daughters, Christina Spencer of Mineola and Rebecca Stolte of Henderson; two-stepsons, Donald "Donny" Moss of Quitman and Daylon Moss of Mineola; step-daughter, Deidra "DD" Moss of Lindale; two brothers, David Rush and wife Mary of Fruitvale and Larry Rush and wife Ann of Fruitvale; seven sisters, Betty Scott of Grand Saline, Brenda Kirk of Mineola, Barbara Copeland of Grand Saline, Sandra Rush of Fruitvale, Janis Landreau of Fruitvale, Frankie Rush Phillips of Grand Saline and Deloris Smith of Van; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Colby Collins, Joshua Rush, Ty Moss, Devon Spencer, William Burge and Steven Savage.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gauge Moss, Riley Moss and River Nelson.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
