Services for Jeffie Hukill Huffaker, 92, Longview, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Sunday, January 12, 2020, at Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline, with Chaplain Lawrence Thompson officiating.
Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery, Alba.
Mrs. Huffaker passed away January 8, 2020, in Longview. She was born August 31, 1927 in Alba to Jefferson Davis & Vera Jane Sanders Hukill. She spent most of her life in the Dallas area before moving to Longview about 18 years ago. She attended First Baptist Church of Hallsville for many years and was a salesclerk. Jeffie was preceded in death by her parents; father of her children, James Herman Bailey; late husband, Max Huffaker; three brothers; and one sister.
Survivors include two daughters, Gloria Jean McKnight and husband Delbert of Kaufman and Phyllis Kay Taylor-Wilson and husband Herman of Longview; sister, Vera Mae Barker of Bardwell; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Chad Taylor, Timothy McKnight, Joshua Kyle Stuart, Jacob Chad Taylor, Vincent Michael Villanueva and Justin Mitchell Villanueva.
Honorary pallbearer will be Steven Clay Taylor.
The family will receive friends 4-6 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
