GOLDEN – Funeral services for David Adrian Rountree, 56, of Golden, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2019, at First Baptist Church, Alba, with Bro. Fred Morrow officiating.
Burial will be in Concord Cemetery, Quitman, under direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Mr. Rountree passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019, at his home in Golden.
He was born September 15, 1962, in Phoenix, Arizona, to the late Pat Lee and Patricia Evelyn English Rountree. He married Teresa Gayle Lyles on March 3, 1994, in Alba. David lived in Wood County most of his life after moving from Arizona. He was a mechanic and owned D’s Automotive in Alba.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Teresa Rountree of Mineola; sons, James Preston Rountree of Golden and Thomas Lee Rountree of Golden; sister, Tracy & Monty McKenzie of Golden; sister-in-law, Kim Harrison and husband Robbie of Houston; brother-in-law, Tracy Tucker of Van; nieces, Allison McKinley, Tiffany Poole, Melissa Tucker Johnson; and nephews, Cody Tucker, Patrick Turner, Payton Turner, and Justin Harrison.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers will be Danny Brown, Jake Creel, Coby Carver, Tracy Tucker, Cody Tucker, Austin Milbourn, Robert Harrison, and Monty McKenzie.
Visitation will be 12 noon, Thursday, January 17, 2019, at the church.
