LONE OAK - Services for Margie Mae Stewart, 75, of Lone Oak, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Lone Oak Baptist Church with Bro. Robert Cook officiating.
Interment will be in Hooker Cemetery under the direction of Bartley’s Lone Oak Funeral Home.
Ms. Stewart passed away Monday, October 17, 2016, in Sulphur Springs. She was born June 5, 1941, in Rains County to the late Lee “Salty” Maston and Dessie Lavera Morris Weatherford. She lived most of her life in Hunt County and was an assembler in the electronic industry. She retired from L3 Communications after working there for 26 years. Margie was a member of the Lone Oak Baptist Church.
Survivors include her two sons, Kenneth “Buddy” & Linda Stigall of East Tawakoni and Rodney & Yvonne Stigall of Sulphur Springs; three daughters, Sherry & Frank Bickel of Lone Oak, Patricia Burns & Christian Ogara of Hutto, and Zina & Larry Easley of Dublin; 19 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a multitude of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Leon Weatherford; sister, Wilma Jean Weatherly; and grandson, Milo Hummel.
Pallbearers will be Eric Taylor, Josh Stigall, Zach Burns, Samuel Burns, Mack Easley, Luke Easley, Jimmy Weatherford, and Billy Weatherford.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
